So without further ado...
Church was great today! In Sunday school (yes, we have a high school Sunday school class) was learned about Jainism and Zoroastrianism. It was very interesting, though, still confusing.
Our pastor's message today talked about Daniel and how God had displayed his power throughout his life. It's amazing how great God is. It stuck me how little I expect God to do sometimes. I think often underestimate how much God is truly capable of. The things that I'm dealing with or hoping for that seem so large in my eyes are so simple to God. There's an easy fix for everything.
Still, sometimes we think because God is not acting that he is not powerful. This simply is not true. I have learned many times before that God's timing is always perfect. How he gets some things to occur when they do and in relation to what else is going on at the same time has shown me that God knows what he's doing. All of our lives are a brilliant canvases in which he uses to show the brilliance in the creation of his masterpiece. When God doesn't seem to act, it only means that he has something else planned. I'm sure you have heard the words of John N. Mitchell, "The finest steal has to go through the hottest fire." There also could be a blessing on the other side of your hardships that you could not receive without enduring the trails.
It was interesting because last night (much like many other evenings) I was on Youtube looking up Christians videos and ended up coming upon the Onetimeblind channel. I'd seen videos from this channel many times before but there were a bunch of videos that came up that I hadn't watched before. One of these videos was www.youtube.com/watch?v=2DRO49… . I thought this fit in perfectly. I highly recommend watching it if you have the time. We have to wait through the rain to see the rainbow the same way we have to go through the hardships to see God's promise.

I'll subscribe if you subscribe.
As you may or may not have already guessed this journal is about what it's title implies. If you were looking for deeply rooted metaphors I am sorry to disappoint.
The truth of the matter is I spend way to much time on youtube. Sometimes my time is spent stalking Charlie McDonnell, trying to figure out when he may come to my home state again http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oaUaYVk3t3U&ob=av3e and other times there is no rational to what I do. Either way you look at it, there is no real justification.
However, in an attempt to justify my use of time on this particular internet site, a few months ago I created a new youtube channel, in which
Verses Please?
I am taking requests for verses. I have decided that I am going to start making more pictures like My Isaiah 55:8-9 picture. http://fav.me/d4mi9d8
I will take more time on each of these and use this as a time to spend in prayer with God as I am making them. If you have any prayers you would like for me to put into a picture or want to see a particular verse on a picture let me know. I would really love to hear some input from you all. I think it would be fantastic to spend time praying for you guys.
Nevertheless, maybe you have a prayer request you don't want to be put into a picture for all of DeviantArt to see, if this is the case, and
ATTENTION All Watchers: Expecially Whovians
I am slowly going to being the process of removing all of my pieces with copyrighted images in them or ones that I do not have permission for.
Some I will be able to edit out these copyrighted pictures, but others I can not. Instead of deleting the deviation completely though, I will put up a different picture and leave a link to another place where you can find it.
I will most likely be moving them to Photobucket: http://s303.photobucket.com/profile/LuvsSpunkRansom so if you want to go ahead and follow me there then you will know when they are uploaded.
This way, I won't have to worry about copyright violations with this account. I don't
